About the festival
Laxmi Puja is the third day of Tihar when cows are worshipped in the morning and Goddess Laxmi, deity of wealth, is honoured in the evening. Homes are cleaned, decorated with oil lamps, rangoli, and marigold garlands to welcome prosperity.
