International card payments & refunds

Effective date: August 2026. This page explains how payments and refunds work when you pay with an international card. It supplements our cancellation policy and terms and conditions — the cancellation window shown on your booking confirmation always governs how much is refundable.

Who charges your card

International card payments are charged by Nepgram USA LLC, acting as the payment merchant of record, and processed by Stripe (US). Your card statement shows the charge in the currency displayed at checkout. The travel service itself is provided by the operator named on your booking confirmation, arranged in Nepal by the licensed agency shown there.

Payment is in full

International card bookings are paid in full at checkout — deposit reservations are not offered on this payment method. The exact amount in your card currency is locked and shown before you pay.

How refunds are issued

  • Refunds are returned to the same card you paid with, in the same currency, by Nepgram USA LLC. We never ask for bank details for a card refund.
  • Approved refunds are initiated within 3 business days of the cancellation being confirmed and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
  • Partial refunds are proportional to what your card was actually charged — the refund is computed on the charged card-currency amount, so exchange-rate movements after booking never reduce your refund share.
  • If you paid part of a booking with Nepgram Points, that portion is restored as points (points are never converted to cash); only the card portion returns to your card.

Disputes and chargebacks

If something went wrong, contact support first with your booking reference — most issues resolve faster than a card dispute. You always retain your chargeback rights with your card issuer against Nepgram USA LLC as the merchant of record.
