A gentle ridge hike at Kakani (2,073 m) on the north-west rim of Kathmandu Valley, with a broad panorama of Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Manaslu. Barely 1–2 hours of walking from the bazaar — a relaxed half-day escape popular for picnics and strawberry farms.
